The words to this song really touched my heart. In the aftermath of our loss it seems that my faith in God hung from the prayer of salvation I said to him in 1974 when I opened the door of my heart and asked Jesus to come in. Jesus never left me. Not even when Maria died and went to heaven. Jesus sat with me and wept with me as I grieved her loss. Jesus reminded me over and over through scripture, through friends, and through our Pastors that Maria is in heaven and God has not abandoned me, nor my family. Sometimes in grief the only thing we can do is reach our hand toward heaven and sing those words holy is your name. Just as this song ministered to me I hope it does the same for you. What you do not see is God doing a beautiful tapestry on your life that will be used to help others heal from their grief. Now is the time to allow God to paint his masterpiece on your life.
